Specialising in the creation and hosting of IT solutions, Proginov saw turnover of over 30 million Euros in 2016, with SaaS accounting for 64% of sales.
In a software publishing market which grew by 3.5% in 2016 (source: Syntec Numérique), Proginov generated turnover of 30 million Euros, achieving year-on-year growth of 7.4%.
The Nantes-based firm attributes this success to its SaaS (Software as a Service) activities, which account for over 64% of total sales. Proginov has thus reaffirmed its long-established expertise in hosting – the company was one of the pioneers of this service in France, offering SaaS solutions since 2001. In order to maintain the technological advantage in this competitive sector, Proginov devotes 30% of its turnover to Research & Development every year.
Continuing the strategy launched in 2015, Proginov has succeeded in capitalising on growth and developments in the food industry and healthcare sector. The latter market, along with the transport sector, has given Proginov the opportunity to develop its third-party hosting activities. “Our turnover from this service has quadrupled in the past year, and we’re determined to carry on expanding our IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and Saas activities for the hosting of third-party solutions. Our expertise, and the fact that services are hosted on our own ERP platform, help our clients to trust the technology. We’ve been working to satisfy the demands of connected users for over 15 years now, and that experience is crucial. Unlike hardware hosting solutions, who aren’t necessarily used to handling those requirements, we know just how critical the user experience is to any hosting service.” explains Philippe Plantive, President of the Board of Directors.
Now more than ever, Cloud solutions continue to drive the rapid growth of Proginov.
